LHH is working with a dynamic company in the real estate industry seeking a talented Property Accountant to join their team. This company values dedication, innovation, and excellence in all aspects of operations. They are looking for a detail-oriented individual to fulfill the role of Property Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial tasks crucial to maintaining the financial health of our properties.
This position pays 80K-85K+Bonus.
Job Responsibilities:Regularly monitor the cash position of properties.Perform daily and monthly cash reconciliations.Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.Generate and post adjusting journal entries as needed.Assist in preparing comprehensive monthly financial statement packages, including detailed reviews of general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement accounts.Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting deadlines.Contribute to the development and updating of Accounting Policies and Procedures.Maintain accurate records and files.Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property accounting (experience in the multi-family or commercial property industry).
