📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are actively recruiting for a Senior Accountant opening with one of our growing Oil & Gas services clients here in the Houston area. The hiring company offers best-in-class production of tools & machinery, and this is an excellent opportunity to build your experience while getting exposed to the entire business. The role is highly visible and will manage the financials for domestic and international operations.
JOB DESCRIPTIONPerforms complex accounting transactions in accordance with corporate financial standards and GAAP driving completion in an accurate and timely mannerManages fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, disposals, sale of assets within subsidiariesPerforms monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reportingPrepares support for external and internal auditorsReviews, investigates, corrects errors and/or inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports findings
QUALIFICATIONSBBA in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent 5+ years' experience with an energy OR manufacturing company Advanced Microsoft office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)Knowledge of ERP systems – preferably Dynamics AX
