Senior Corporate Accountant, Plano (90K-95K+Bonus)
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
LHH is looking to fill a Senior Corporate Accountant with a growing organization located in Plano, TX. The Senior Corporate Accountant who will be responsible for monthly closing duties such as reconciliations, journal entries, and other analytical procedures. This individual will report directly to the Accounting Manager. This position pays 90K-95K+Bonus
Responsibilities:Coordinate and execute month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare and review, if needed, journal entries, and perform necessary adjustments.Perform flux analysis, account reconciliations and transactional research monthly and on an ad-hoc basis.Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, ensuring compliance and providing necessary documentation.Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.Actively participate in system implementations or upgrades related to financial systems, providing subject matter expertise and user support.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification is highly preferred, not required.5+ years in progressive corporate accounting or public accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
