Senior Network Engineer (RELO AVALIBLE)

LHH Technology is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for our client located in Irvine, CA. The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all data networks. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills along with a thorough knowledge of network architecture and administration.

Key Responsibilities:Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficientlyExperience with Cisco NexusExtensive knowledge with TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, PPP, PPTP, IPSec, SMTP, SNMP, STP, VTPSound knowledge about network security and control modelsExperience with network monitoring, diagnostics, and analysis tools such as SolarWindsExperience with Cisco (IOS,ISE,Prime) HP IMC, Paloalto, Velocloud, Aerohive preferred.Exceptional organizational, leadership and management skillsAn analytical mind with a problem-solving attitudeAbility to take quick decisions while working independentlyAbility to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminologyExperience working in an ITSM/ITIL environmentConfiguring and installing software, routers, servers and other network devicesDesigning and deploying functional networks such as LAN, WLAN or WANMonitoring network performance, security, and integritySuggesting improvements to network capacity, performance, and scalabilityMaintaining technical documentation and mentoring team on technical issuesCreating, overseeing, and testing security measures such as disaster recovery and access authentication

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with equivalent technical experience7 years’ experience as a Network Administrator or Network EngineerPoint of Sale Equipment / Software, Networking Switches / Routers, WAN/LAN, Firewalls,Wireless Infrastructure, Phone Systems, Payment Devices, CCTV/NVR, MS Office, MS Exchange,SD-Wan, Service Desk (ITSM/ITIL), Project Management3 years of experience working with Cisco Firepower
