Senior Payroll Specialist

LHH is supporting a fantastic client in the non-profit space who is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist on a Contract to Hire basis. This position will require some in-office work in Brooklyn, NY. If you're an organized, communicative, and motivated individual, then this might be the position for you!

Responsibilities:Maintain and process information within the payroll system; Manage timekeeping system.Run audits to resolve payroll discrepancies.Respond to management and employee questions/requests in a timely manner.Ensure appropriate processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, etc.Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferredProficient with Microsoft Office Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookupsExcellent organizational and communication skills

Compensation: $35 - 43/hr, depending on experience.
