Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant with experience in General Ledger (GL) operations. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities:General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Month-end Close Activities: Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, reviewing financial statements, and supporting schedules.Financial Reporting: Prepare various financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and other account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.Expense Management: Review and process expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and proper allocation of expenses to appropriate accounts.Audit Support: Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries in a timely manner.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Compliance: Stay updated on accounting regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Entry to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably with exposure to general ledger activities.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
