Staff Accountant ($65-70k)
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
LHH is partnering with a high-growth manufacturing organization that is based in Roanoke, TX. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting various accounting functions within the organization. You will work closely with finance teams, auditors, and other stakeholders to contribute to the financial health and integrity of their company. The position is a hybrid working schedule (3 days' in-office) and we are targeting a base salary of $65,000 to $70,000.
Key Responsibilities:Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately in the general ledger.Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure the integrity of financial data.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Generate financial reports for management review and analysis.Support the costing process by analyzing manufacturing costs and variances.Assist in inventory valuation and reconciliation.Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and payments.Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer balances.Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.Prepare financial projections and variance analysis.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Assist in internal and external audits as needed.Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other related field1+ years' working experience within Corporate AccountingStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in Microsoft ExcelEffective communication and teamwork abilities
