LHH is recruiting on a Supervising Senior Accountant position with a large, publicly traded organization in North Dallas. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant that is ready to take the next step in their career by leading projects and supervising staff. The salary range for this position is 95k-100k, plus performance bonus and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and review of journal entriesPrepare various types of reconciliations and ensure that the different balances are correctPartner with both internal and external auditorsWork with various different business units and assist with troubleshooting processes where necessaryEnsure that SOX and GAAP compliance is met and maintainedPrepare financial reporting packages for upper-level managementComplete various ad-hoc projects when necessaryIndirectly supervise a team of more junior-level members.
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA or CPA candidate is a plus5+ years' of working experience within public accounting or large corporate environmentAdvanced skills within Excel as well as previous working experienceProficient verbal and written communication
