📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking to fill a Tax Accountant role with a growing company in Dallas. The position offers the opportunity to work for a family-friendly company that values work-life balance. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate tax information for the company and will have upward mobility in the company.
This position pays 75K-85K depending on experience and offers a Hybrid work schedule.
DutiesParticipate in planning of workflow to ensure completion of assigned returns.Prepare partnership, corporate, individual and personal property tax returns.Internal contact as needed between various departments to facilitate completion of tax issues.Assist fellow department members in order for the department to complete annual tax season goal.Daily use of multiple software programs for organization of workpapers, tax returns and workflow management.Analyze unaudited financial statements to determine adjustments necessary for accurate tax treatment.
ExperienceBachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Tax or related fieldCPA eligible or EA eligible is a plus1-3 years’ experience in public accounting or its equivalentStrong communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to use Microsoft Office Suite, including ExcelProSystem fx Tax (Axcess Tax), Engagement & BNA Income Tax Planner
