📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Admissions Associate will leverage their passion for learning and experience to motivate individuals to move from thinking about learning a new skill to actually enrolling in one of Life Time Academys industry-leading, innovative and state-licensed programs, including: Personal Training, Group Fitness, and Indoor Cycle. The Admissions Associate sets the stage for the retention of career-oriented students and sets them on a path of long-term success.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Interviews prospective students and conduct information sessionsResponds to inquiries from prospective students and parents and implement student outreach initiativesMentors students from the application process through enrollmentManages and updates prospective student database, application paperwork, and follow-up documentationSupports student retention initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely communication for feedback
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years experience consultative sales or customer service using interpersonal skills and ethical approachExperience working with individuals representing multiple stages of life and divers backgrounds/experiencesEnthusiasm and passion for education, fitness, learning and empowering others to succeedAbility to work creatively and efficiently independently and part of a teamExcellent written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate professionally
Preferred Requirements
Experience in a fitness or health and wellness industryExperience as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, or Indoor Cycle. Experience with HubSpotExperience in higher education admissions
