📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Landscape Architect Sales Designer - (Seattle) Our company is a well-established residential landscape design/build construction company. Since 2002 we have focused on delivering exceptional quality products and services to discerning home owners in the Puget Sound area.
We are now interviewing to add another Landscape Architect / Designer to the team.
Our designers are responsible transforming client requirements into exceptional and artistic landscape designs, preparing accurate fixed price bids and proposals, presenting designs to clients, planning installation projects, and overseeing projects from start to finish.
- *Must be able to bring in 1.5 to 5 million in yearly sales, with proven track record**
Some additional duties may include but not limited to: * Work with client duration of project from start to finish *Preferred knowledge of native and ornamental planting specific to the Pacific Northwest region.* Project management & site visits to oversee project * Analyze data on conditions such as site location, drainage, or structure location for environmental reports or landscaping plans. * Develop marketing materials, proposals, or presentations to generate new work opportunities. * Create landscapes that minimize water consumption such as by incorporating drought-resistant grasses or indigenous plants. * Integrate existing land features or landscaping into designs. This position requires strong organization skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and an extensive knowledge of landscape design/build and construction practices. The designer must communicate effectively on all levels of the project -- communicating professionally with clients, other designers, administrative personnel, crew, craftsmen and subcontractors on project sites, and company principals. An applicant for this position should have: * At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a landscape designer * A college degree in landscape architecture * Landscape Architecture License * An appreciation for unique and artistic landscape design *Experience with planting, hardscape, and irrigation design* Proficiency with CADD systems to prepare 2D and 3D design packages * Demonstrated the ability to sell, design, and install projects generating 1.5-5 million annual revenue *Must be ok with driving to customers and to jobsites* If you're interested in joining our team, please email your resume, references, salary expectations, and a cover letter, using the subject line "Landscape Architect”.
