📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are midsized firm seeking a Trust & Estate Paralegal to become a part of our team in our Westfield, NJ office. Minimum of three years T&E experience. At Lindabury, self-starters thrive! The best match for this role has a robust knowledge of trust and estate law, is comfortable interacting with clients, and works well independently. Experience with appropriate technologies is required for this role. Knowledge of law firm attorney billing systems and entering attorney time is a plus.
Although this role describes a candidate who is well experienced, Lindabury is open to considering candidates who are recent college graduates whose studies focus on the law and have a keen interest in learning within a law firm environment.
Responsibilities:Conduct research to support legal proceedingsAssist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documentsInvestigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputesMonitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsRecord and store client informationTravel to satellite locations for meetings, etc.
Qualifications:Paralegal Certification and / or College Degree in applicable line of studyPrevious experience as a paralegal or other legal fieldFamiliarity with legal researchAbility to prioritize and multitaskExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDeadline and detail-oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,547.00 - $72,000.00 per year
