Links Technology Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer to fill an opening with an Information Technology company.
Responsibilities of the Technical WriterDevelop and write a variety of technical content, including user guides, configuration guides, API documentation, and online helpPartner with subject matter experts to gain a deep understanding of technologies and solutionsApply strong information architecture principles to organize content in a logical and easy-to-navigate wayContinuously improve the quality, usability, and efficiency of technical documentationExperiment with innovative content formats, such as video tutorials and interactive contentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all documentation aligns with Company’s branding and messaging
Qualifications of the Technical Writer5+ years of experience writing technical documentation for complex products and technologiesA proven track record of delivering high-quality content on time and within budgetExcellent writing skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and styleExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyThe ability to learn new technologies quickly and translate them into clear, concise language for a variety of audiencesExperience with content management systems (CMS) and content authoring tools a plusFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and a collaborative working styleExperience with Cisco products and technologiesKnowledge of cloud-based technologies, cybersecurity, or AI/MLExperience with content strategy, information architecture, or user experience (UX) design
