Pricing Analyst

OBJECTIVE: The Pricing Analyst is responsible for maintaining our pricing system, reporting on key brand changes, assisting in pricing projects & process improvement. This individual will work closely with the sales and the purchasing team to maximize overall company sales and growth margin. This person must have a strong understanding of how different systems interact with each other. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and own Vistaar pricing software – SME on Vistaar DPM solution – Inputs and outputsReview sales data to determine trends in customer buying patternsConduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify pricing trends, market dynamics, and competitive positioningAssist VP’s, BU’s, and Pricing Manager in the pricing decision-making processes and support the implementation of pricing changes across product lines or marketsMonitor supplier external system to ensure margin lines are heldCollaborate with sales, purchasing, IT, pricing, accounting, and ops stakeholders to develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives, product positioning, and target customer segments.Day to day tasks include, but are not limited to: low margin report, cost layer auditing, creating price groups, and DA reimbursement reviewAssist other teammates as needed and other tasks as assigned NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs all related duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree or equal experience in an analyst role/field Experience: Finance/Accounting/CPG industry/Wine & SpiritsSystem experience: Vistaar/PowerBI/Diver/Microsoft/Microsoft GP/Advanced ExcelStrong communication skills – Verbally and writtenProcess mapping software skillsStrong analytical skillsExceptional attention to detail Self-starter and strong team player
