Liquid Wire produces wearable technology using fluid-phase conductors that stretch and dynamically deform unlike any other printed circuitry on the planet. Mechanically matched to the human body, Liquid Wire sensor arrays and advanced IoT embedded systems seamlessly integrate into orthopedic apparel, gaming peripherals and sports apparel, allowing real time in-situ data gathering of human motion. Liquid Wire is dedicated to eliminating the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds. Our solutions include wearable devices like XR data gloves and other body tracking solutions. To serve this market effectively, the company is seeking to hire a General Manager for the XR/Gaming vertical.

The General Manager will have experience and capability to build and lead our XR/Gaming vertical, which specializes in developing advanced movement tracking gloves and a range of gaming wearables. As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, from strategic planning and product development to operational execution and market expansion. Your role will be critical in driving the company's growth, ensuring market fit, and positioning our products as industry leaders. WHAT YOU WILL DOStrategic Leadership:Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.Identify market opportunities, trends, and potential partnerships to expand product offerings and increase market share.Lead the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies to promote our products effectively.Product Development:Oversee the product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to commercialization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and effectiveness.Remain up to date with FDA guidelines, industry standards, and emerging technologies related to medical and industrial applications of Liquid Wire devices to drive innovation and maintain regulatory compliance.Operations and Manufacturing:Manage the operational aspects of the business, including supply chain, manufacturing, inventory management, and logistics.Streamline processes and optimize efficiency to meet production targets and ensure timely product delivery.Implement quality control measures to guarantee that our products consistently meet or exceed FDA requirements. Team Leadership and Development:Build and lead a high-performance team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work culture.Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and expertise.Foster cross-functional collaboration and effective communication across teams to maximize productivity and achieve business objectives.Financial Management:Develop and manage the annual budget, financial forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.Evaluate and negotiate contracts, partnerships, and vendor relationships to optimize cost-effectiveness and drive business outcomes. YOU HAVEBachelor's degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred).Proven experience (at least 7-10 years) in a leadership role within the gaming peripherals market, medical device, wearables, or technology industry.Strong track record of successfully launching and commercializing innovative products in a competitive market.Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Knowledge of operational processes, supply chain management, and quality control in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with financial management principles and budgeting.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving growth and achieving targets. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This is a full-time, exempt position. The salary is $175,000 – $220,000 DOEThere is an exceptional benefits package including employer paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401k. Plus, a very generous PTO plan.
