📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Talent Business Partner & Business Management is responsible for supporting the Chief Talent Officer and the Talent Leadership team with strategic efforts in addition to supporting business areas as a Talent Partner. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Talent Partners.

This position can be worked from Atlanta, Boston, or Miami.

RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with assigned business unit(s), office(s), and/or region(s) to ensure an understanding of business strategy and help to implement high-quality Talent practices.Work closely with the overall Talent team and Firm to evaluate and support the needs of the business and create tools and resources to increase leadership, team and individual effectiveness.Develop and deliver communication and change management plans in support of both Talent and Firm programs.Be a trusted resource and consultant to business area(s) leadership, providing guidance when appropriate.Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Talent group to develop solutions, programs and policies.Build and develop talent growth, strategy, and succession plans that are tailored to meet business unit needs.Support and partner to execute on the performance management practices.Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues across all business units, offices, and/or regions.Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and company policies related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the general counsel as needed/required.Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Partner across Talent team to develop best practices for new hires, promotions, and transfers.Help build out internal processes and definition of roles for the Talent Partners working with the Talent team and business.Support the Chief Talent Officer and Talent leadership team in department operations and business management.Partner across the Talent leadership and firm business partners to see through strategic initiatives.Lead the team through annual goal setting, budget, and ongoing tracking.Own Talent leadership meetings, collecting the agenda and ensuring action items are captured and completed by the owner.Develop and execute Talent communication strategies.Ensure the team is aligned with their priorities and works as efficiently as possible through project management systems.Help connect the dots and workstreams between Talent team COEs.Occasional travel.Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience in a professional services and/or legal environment preferred.Bachelor's degree in Organization Development, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or an equivalent field is preferred; advanced Human Resources degree and/or certified Human Resources credentials a plus.Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, compensation practices, and federal and state respective employment laws.Excellent communication skills, including written, interpersonal, and listening skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Strong project management skills across projects of varying size and scope.Skilled in managing employee relations matters.
