Studio Producer

We are seeking an organized and solution-minded Studio Producer to join our team and oversee the production of photography and video projects in our studio. This person will play a crucial role in managing the team and workflow of the studio and ensuring the successful execution of projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, solid communication skills, and have a mind for efficiency.

Responsibilities

Project Management: Lead the planning and execution of photography and video projects in the studio, from pre-production through post-production phases. Collaborate with management to define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Develop high level studio and photographer schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met. Set and maintain daily schedules for each shoot with a focus on efficiency while maintaining standards. Create and refine processes that create efficiency and visibility Resource Coordination: Coordinate studio resources, including equipment, props, and sets to support project requirements. Ensure that all resources are available and prepared for use on scheduled shoot dates. Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate production teams, including photographers, production assistants, and freelancers. Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, providing clear direction and support throughout the production process. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging creativity, innovation, and professional growth among team members. Source, hire, and manage freelancers including videographers, retouchers, and stylists when needed. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all aspects of production, including photography, editing, and color. Address any issues or concerns that may arise during production, implementing solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.

Experience, Skills, & Ability Requirements

Proven experience in studio production management, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects. Experience in developing and implementing production processes and team organization. Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Airtable or Basecamp. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams. Knowledge of photography and videography techniques, equipment, and industry trends.
