About the RoleWe are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer/Creative Director specializing in the digital space as part of the Performance Design team–pairing top quality design with strategic direction to elevate and increase brand performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating modern design skills, fresh ideas, and a passion for creating visually compelling content. Must have photography experience.
Day to Day Role:Generate creative and innovative design concepts that resonate with target audiences, showcasing fresh and fun ideasDaily work includes preparing social media content, cross-channel digital advertising campaigns, Amazon design (A+, DPI, Stores), daily emails, HTML5 banners, strategy for seasonal campaignsStay updated with the latest design trends, incorporating them into design projects to maintain a contemporary and cutting-edge aestheticDirect photography selection including retouching and attending shoots for new product launches and campaigns.Work with Marketing team to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.Design and layout packaging artwork: must understand die-lines; execute on all design principles including layout, typography, and color theory; and maintain a strong sense of grid structure.Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points.Create internal decks and brand communication assets.Works within production schedules to manage time and prioritize daily workload.Create merchandising graphicsCreate presentation decks and event collateralDesign primary and secondary retail packaging and promotional displays in the beauty spaceKeep up to date with innovations and trends
Qualifications:3+ years of experience in graphic design in Beauty, Jewelry or Fashion industryAdobe Creative Suite (well versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)Proven portfolio showcasing modern and innovative design concepts, specifically in web and social media graphicsBachelor's (Preferred)Must have photography experienceStrong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.Ability to retouch imagesMust have hands-on photography experienceAbility to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsStrong attention to detailStrong time managementFamiliarity with pop culture, fashion and trendsStrong portfolio of design workAble to present concepts
