Job Summary And Qualifications

As the Sterile Processing Tech Lead you will play a vital role in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings. Our team works together like a family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

You will carry out processes designed to reduce risk and create a safe environment. You will display team spirit by assisting with special project assignments. You will learn billing process for patients and help with Materials Management duties. You will work closely with OR to provide required instrumentation. You will monitor implant usage in trays. You will assist the Manager in overseeing all facets of instrumentation: i.e. sterilization, repairs, assembly, and Censitrac inventory. You will coordinate closely with Manager to address changes and implement improvements to cleanliness of adjacent hospital areas. You will be knowledgeable to perform all functions and operations pertaining to the sterilizers. Responsible for operating sterilizers, aerators and their monitoring cleaning.

What qualifications you will need

Successful completion of a program for operating room preferred. CRCST, CIS and CER or equivalent certification required. Has frequent interaction with physicians, nursing staff, ancillary departments, patients and their families. Familiarity with and knowledge of medical supplies is required.
