📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Specialist you provide highly accurate and timely services to Berwyn’s clients and their customers.
Job Duties Include
Answer Incoming calls to confirm or update mailing Address and Telephone numbers and answer questions about stale dated checks being reissuedPlacing an average of 20-25 Outbound Telephone calls per hours contacting individuals to confirm or update mailing Address and Telephone numberWork independently on a team of 5-8 customer service specialists in a call center environmentNavigate between 2-3 proprietary software applications using keyboard shortcuts and computer mouse in order to update participant’s recordsUtilize recommended scripts and provide an exceptional level of courtesy, professionalism, and respectCommunicate through Microsoft Teams and Outlook with the call center team and manager
Required Skills
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business or a similar focusStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated attention to detailExperience using Microsoft OfficeAdaptability as well as the aptitude and desire to learnCritical thinking and problem solving
Preferred consideration given for
Ability to interpret and speak Spanish for our Spanish speaking clientsExperience using a proprietary software system/databaseExperience in the insurance and/or financial services industries
