📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
VDC Technician
Location: Pell City, AL.
Job Duties:Creating and modifying 3D models of electrical systems in RevitIntegrating models from other disciplines into a central model using NavisworksIdentifying and resolving potential conflicts between various building systemsContributing to the generation of construction documents and reportsAssisting with other VDC-related tasks as assignedResponsibilities:Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to develop and maintain the coordinated model.Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other project stakeholders.Participate in model reviews and meetings.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies in VDC.Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of experience in a VDC or BIM roleProficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and NavisworksExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with systems such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Ability to design with little supervision.
- Designing for Telecommunications is a plus.
