Based in Chicago, ILOpportunity to get in at the ground floor of an innovative urgent and primary care delivery platform.De novo/organic and acquisition strategy of key providers concentrated in the Mid-West.Investors: www.lorientcap.com About the RoleWe care currently seeking to hire a full-time Director of Operations in the greater Chicago area. The Director of Operations will oversee the administrative, operational, and clinical support of all Urgent Care Centers within the assigned market. This role will involve contributing to the development and implementation of strategic plans, market objectives, and initiatives. Additionally, the Director of Operations will be responsible for developing market-wide policies, procedures, and budgets. They will collaborate directly with leadership, providers, corporate resources, and partners to achieve high-quality care, exceptional service, and finance goals.

Job ResponsibilitiesProvide direct supervision of clinic operations, including but not limited to marketing, community relations, and outreach; intake and prior authorization; staffing/scheduling; service delivery, visit verification, and program compliance.Coordinate operations to meet the financial and operational goals of the service line. Manage a matrix relationship with human resources, billing, and payroll.Work collaboratively to facilitate the design, development, and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices related to center operations.Oversee maintenance of appropriate staffing levels for center operations staff and providers at all market sites. This includes, but is not limited to, developing the staffing model, collaborating with talent acquisition to interview and hire new team members, and providing guidance to the management team on staffing practices.Work with senior leadership to develop the annual budget and monthly forecasts.Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree preferred.5+ years' experience in urgent care or other health care business.5+ years' experience managing and leading a team across multiple locations.Healthcare billing experience preferred.
