Your Job Purpose:

As an LSS Technician, you will be primarily responsible for the operations and maintenance of the High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) Life Safety Systems. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Operations and Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the HVM Life Safety Systems, ensuring they are operational-ready at all times.Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration of Life Safety Systems into operations as per project schedule, including Fire/Evacuation, Early Warning Smoke Detection, Liquid Leak Detection, Tool Annunciation System (TAS), and Hazardous Production Material (HPM) alarm systems.PLC Programming and Troubleshooting: Accountable for PLC programming and troubleshooting for HPM and TAS systems, including associated I/O point management. Implement, track, and manage continuous improvement projects to enhance system efficiency.Transition and Support: Assist in the transition of new systems/equipment to sustaining support. Support the planning and execution of system shakedowns to ensure smooth integration into operations.Risk Management: Understand the criticality of system reliability, availability, and outages. Effectively manage associated risks to minimize impact on operations.Continuous Improvement: Sustain and continuously improve existing Life Safety Systems to enhance overall reliability and efficiency.Project Support: Provide support for simultaneous multiple projects, task forces, cross-site/cross-discipline teams, and incident resolution as needed.

Qualifications:Strong experience in operations and maintenance of Life Safety Systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Some experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting, with a focus on HPM and TAS systems preferred.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with simultaneous multiple projects and deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
