Accounting Manager

LTV SaaS Growth Services invites an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team in the bustling NYC Office. You'll embark on a mission to elevate our accounting operations, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. Your expertise will be fundamental in enhancing and overseeing every component of our accounting practices. In this crucial role, your primary focus will be to streamline and enforce superior corporate accounting, ensure impeccable regulatory and financial reporting, and sharpen our budgeting and forecasting acumen. Your strategic insights will be key in sculpting steadfast internal controls and propelling our financial systems forward with cutting-edge policies and procedures. The role is HYBRID, with an expectation of reporting into the NY office 3-4 days out of the week, working from home on Fridays. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily functions of the accounting department, ensuring seamless operations. - Analyze accounting data meticulously and generate insightful financial reports. - Uphold and refine accounting standards, initiate system improvements, and implement corrective measures to achieve financial excellence. - Coordinate the preparation and follow-up of invoices, ensuring timely reimbursements and tracking payments with precision. - Compile essential reports for various stakeholders, including the CEO, clients, and external partners, fulfilling all requests with accuracy. - Vigilantly monitor bank account balances to preclude overdrafts and adeptly manage fund transfers to meet financial obligations efficiently. - Undertake additional tasks as necessary to support the department's success. Qualifications: - 5-7 years of seasoned experience in accounting, with a preference for candidates with a background in Financial Services. - Professional accreditation (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) is required. - A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory, with an advanced degree being a significant advantage. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with standard accounting software packages are essential. Familiarity with NetSuite is desirable. - A solid grasp of bookkeeping, accounting principles, practices, and regulations is expected. - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
