📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Superintendent
Location: Los Angeles, California
DESCRIPTIONThis role is responsible for building all phases of certain construction projects. The Superintendent reports to the Sr. Vice President of the division.
Some travel is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver project on time and on budget.Coordination of all field activities.Regular interaction with sub-contractors and vendors.Coordinate and manage with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator on field changes, RFI’s, and change orders.Ensure jobsite in organized and projects a professional image.Perform jobsite safety meetings.Other duties as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYThis position may supervise a Site Coordinator or an Assistant Superintendent.
WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates at the construction worksite. The employee may be exposed to heavy machinery, and outside weather conditions.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSDetail-oriented with leadership and interpersonal skills.Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.Able to read and understand construction drawings, project schedules and structural specification sheets.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in this or a similar role.
