Job Overview

The Principal Project Info Systems Mgmt Lead is responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices. They will be tasked with solving complex Project Information Management-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. The Principal Project Info Systems Mgmt Lead may be responsible for leading functional teams or projects and is regarded as a specialist in Project Information Management. As such, they must have in-depth expertise in Project Information Management as well as broad knowledge of the Project Information Management discipline within the Global Operations function.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Responsible for the entire life cycle information management process of projects, from initial estimate to completion and handoverReview of Invitation to Bid (ITB) from Clients for the Information Management requirements and assessment of the risks and opportunities in this areaCoordinate with Business and IT stakeholders in the preparation of the Information and Systems Management Execution Plan for proposals and projectsPrepare Information and Systems Management estimates covering hardware, resources, and licenses and control spending within the allocated budgetsPrepare and review proposal write-upsDetect and manage project scope changesCoordinate the project-specific infrastructure setup for construction sites, client resident teams, and joint venture partners in cooperation with Project ITSpecify and coordinate the processes and tools for data collection, validation consolidation, and handover to the ClientSingle point of contact to project management and the Client for Information ManagementTranslate project-specific information requirements into efficient system configurations and related user instructions in conjunction with execution tool administratorsPrepare functional specifications and manage the development and implementation of project-specific applications and/or interfacesCapture lessons learned, best practices and ensure their embedding in the organizationInitiate and conduct Information Systems Management (ISM) audits and peer reviewsTrain and coach personnel for and on assignmentsProvide input to audits and peer reviews, undertake other project audits as required

Essential Qualifications and Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline or IT or equivalent work experienceMinimum 10 years of experience Information Management on FEED, EPC, and EPCF projectsFully familiar with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Fabrication project execution requirements for Information Systems ManagementConversant with data-driven 1D, 2D, and 3D engineering tools from Hexagon and AVEVA and their deployment in an Integrated Environment with engineering workflowExperience in managing Information and Systems Management and data teams
