📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are a small, but growing practice looking for a full time experienced optician to join our optical family. We value community, culture, quality and integrity of care at our practice. We are located next door to a successful optometry and ophthalmology practice specializing in glaucoma and cataracts. We treat our patients like family and are looking for opticians who uphold the same values as we do and are looking for growth, opportunity and a fun working environment.
Job duties include:
- Frame selections with each patient directly. We style our patients into the best independent eyewear in the world. We work one-on-one with them to ensure the best fit possible.
- Answering phones and scheduling frame selections and lens cutting appointments as we have our own in house lab to ensure quality lab work done in a timely manner.
- Processing glasses and contact lens orders with and without insurance.
- Quality inspections in the lab including checking prescriptions, measurements and frame adjustments.
- Keeping our front office, back office and lab tidy and clean at all times.
- Back office work including scanning and bookkeeping.

Full time schedule Hire #1 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (10:30am - 7:00pm), Friday and Saturday.
