📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Design overhead and underground lines ranging from 4kV- 138kVSupport client by providing engineering services to support transmission and distribution systemsDevelop detailed designs for distribution infrastructure including overhead and underground lines, transformers, switches, and associated equipment.Serve as a technical expert for key stakeholders
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.5+ years of experience in distribution system planning, design, and engineering, preferably in the utility or energy sector.Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCADStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., NEC, NESC, IEEE).Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
