REMOTE Roadway Design Engineer
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A top client of mine who is based in St Louis, is looking for a talented Roadway Design Engineer to join their team. This person can work fully remote if based in Missouri or Illinois.
This person will serve as Project Engineer on transportation projects and contribute to the growth in the Missouri and Illinois markets. Tons of knowledgeable engineers on staff who are eager to mentor, train, and develop a new team member.
Qualifications3-7 years of experience and have a strong interest in being involved in technically detailed design work, interacting with clients and contractorsPE in Illinois or Missouri strongly preferredExperienced in working in private sector/and or public sectorSkillset proficiency: MicroStation, Geopak and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Responsibilities Includes roadway design, roadway rehabilitation, ADA compliant designs, bike & pedestrian trail design, traffic signal design, etc.Coordinating with public agencies to work on large multi million dollar DOT projectsResolving design issues that may include performing field investigations
