The lead manufacturing analyst will partner directly with the OPAM Manufacturing team providing accounting and analysis support for OPAM Manufacturing. This support includes satisfying closing requirements, coordination of operating performance plan, reporting actual results against plan and consolidation of forecasts. This position will also provide special project assistance to OPAM Manufacturing Management and possible ad hoc support regionally. This location is at 1221 Mckinney, Houston, TX 77010

A Day In The Life

Encompasses all things accounting-related supporting the OPAM Manufacturing team, including accounting and month-end close activities, cost and profitability analysis, manufacturing, and corporate reporting, as well as additional core and ad-hoc functions for various support organizations.Providing key information on historical and forward-looking trends and related cost analysis at the micro and macro level.Among other tasks, this business partner will guide the following processes: annual performance plan, forecast consolidation, LRP functions, monthly cost reporting, business review reporting, benchmark data collection and analysis, as well as other financial support for the manufacturing site and support organizations.Support and report on VEP initiatives related to the Business.

Education

You Bring This Value

BA in a financial/business related field or relevant experience with six or more years of financial or business analysis experience preferred, although high potential individuals may be considered with less relevant experience.Work Experience:A minimum of 6+ years of experience in financial or manufacturing accounting.Experience in Petrochemical or related industries is a plus.Experience using ERP and Financial Planning Systems (SAP, Oracle, BPC, OneStream).

Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to prioritize and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement and ensure achievement of Manufacturing, Finance and Company goals.Ability to multi-task, consistently meets deadlines, and performs self-review of work product for accuracy and quality in a dynamic environment.Ability to work with various work groups and various levels throughout the Manufacturing and Finance organizations.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are essential.Ability to quickly learn and leverage new technologies to enable process improvement.
