Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain daily posting of accounts payable, including inter-company billings.Post accounts receivable for properties and corporate accounts.Monitor and record receipts daily, and process bank deposits.Organize mail, distribute, and save electronically accordingly.Record monthly cash activity and perform bank reconciliations.Assist with preparation of monthly financial reporting packages with supporting schedules for a portfolio of properties, ensuring the professional presentation of investor reports.Uploading reports to partners and investors portalsReconcile mortgage and reserve balances. DESIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTESStrong technical accounting skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal communication.Self-starter able to work within a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment with fixed internal and external reporting deadlines.Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.Calm and positive under pressure. Proactive, innovative, and positive attitude required.Growth mindset in a fast-growing company. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONMinimum 1-3 years relevant work experience in Accounting, required.Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree in Business, preferred.Proficient in Excel, Word and Adobe, required.Experience with YARDI strongly preferred, but not required. HOURS & SCHEDULING20 hours per week (minimum 4 days per week, flexible on hours per day), in office required due to nature of the position
