Operations Manager – Freight Forwarding
Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a rapidly growing logistics company. The company is a full-service logistics provider, focusing on Freight Forwarding solutions. We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager, specialising in Ocean & Air Freight Forwarding solutions. The position will be based in Houston, Texas and will report into the Regional Director. Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Offer support to the Freight Forwarding Operations teams, supporting process enhancementsServe as an escalation point to any operationally focused challenges Offer operational support to sales personnelWork with key stakeholders to understand processes and deliver solution enhancements and resolutionsEnsure invoicing and compliance procedures are adhered toCommunicate systems changes across the organisationReinforce processes and instruct staff on how to manage systems To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements: Candidate must have 9+ years experience within a Freight Forwarding positionMust come from a predominantly operations focused backgroundExperience managing < 5 direct reportsComfortable with communicating with C-suite both internal and externalExperienced managing relationships with key vendors The expected salary for this role is between USD $100K – $115K USD.
