Job Description
The candidate will provide technical leadership to the organization to drive MACOM’s Defense and Space Optical component, module and subsystems business.
Roles And Responsibilities
Engineering management – depending on opportunity - lead projects as lead technical architect, Engineering lead or project manager on key captures. Be main interface to customers on major programs. Collaborate with HPC (High performance analog team, Lightwave and Linear Photonics group) Travel to various BUs (CA, NJ, MA, MI) Contribute to strategic growth, help refine our vision and plan. Technology development Support Linear Module Systems RF over Fiber activities (exactly how TBD) Establish relationships with broader Management team (VP and SVPs and GMs)
Education and Experience Requirements
B.S plus 18 years of engineering work experience, or M.S. plus 16 years of engineering work experience or Ph.D. plus 14 years of engineering work experience
