Job Responsibilities

What you will doProvide leadership and oversee compliance within operating/income tax related administration; actively participate in overall tax planning. Review operating and income tax returns for accuracy and appropriate tax administration; ensure necessary corrections are made and appropriate filing performed. Manage and review fuel, mileage, property, income and other tax reporting; assist in overseeing operating tax functions.Lead and direct the work of Tax department personnel; ensure adherence to government, federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures.Perform tax research and assist with tax planning.Perform internal control tests in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).Oversee various government audits.Respond to tax related inquiries and issues as appropriate; collaborate with Company's public accountant and research Mexico related income tax issues.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.Perform additional responsibilities/special projects as directed by leadership.Qualifications: What you need to bring Five (5) or more years of corporate tax experience.Baccalaureate from Accredited University or College-major in Accounting. CPA required. Advanced tax degree preferred.Extensive knowledge of all FAS 109 requirements and calculations and SOX requirements; strong P/C skills including Excel; strong analytical skills; effective written and oral communication skills; self-starter who needs little motivation or direct supervision; ability to plan and organize; high degree of accuracy; detail oriented.
