Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Accountant at Carl T Madsen Inc. The Construction Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks related to construction projects. This includes managing project budgets, tracking expenses, preparing and reconciling daily, weekly, and monthly reports and statements, preparing financial reports, preparing and filing tax reports, maintain all financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable, and providing support to the project management teams. QualificationsExperience in construction accounting or related fieldKnowledge of project budgeting and financial analysisProficiency in Viewpoint Spectrum accounting software and MS OfficeStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceRelevant certifications (e.g., Certified Construction Accountant) are a plus
