Collaborate/support with Magna Seating Innovation group on new PU developmentsCollaborate/support with MSCT Chemists on current and developing PU systems for MagnaCollaborate/support with Magna manufacturing locations on Chemical Systems only as needed/requiredMaintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other business partners for existing Chemical SystemsResearch to identify new opportunities both Internally and Externally in the area of PU Chemical SystemsUse skills in project management and leadership to develop new contracts while maintaining/growing existing onesProvide key information required for preparing quotes for new products/customersAdhere to local and federal regulationsAdhere to Divisions expense budgetContinuous Improvement initiatives for saving activities within the MSCT DivisionSome travel required (<25%)Promotes Magna’s Corporate Constitution and compliance to the Magna Employee’s CharterAdheres to company systems and policies (ISO9001, 5S, Employee’s Charter, and Operational Principles)Ensures conformance to all established policies, procedures, and rules as defined by Health and Safety systems, in compliance with OSHA, and Magna CorporateInitiates action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the product, process, and quality systemIf there is a reason to believe that any equipment or physical condition of the workplace is likely to endanger the employee or co-worker, and/ or is in contravention of the Occupational safety and Health Act (OSHA), notify management immediatelyIf there is reason to believe that any equipment, physical condition of the workplace, or assigned task is likely to jeopardize customer’s requirements, internal requirements, or the quality of product and/or equipment build, notify management immediately
