📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Magnify is currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a Manufacturing client in the Westinghouse/Steele Creek area of Charlotte! This role will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and administration of internal control systems to ensure accurate and timely financial insights and reporting.
Responsibilities: Coaching and development of accounting team.Oversee all accounting operations.Compliance with all regulatory requirements.Manage all financial data for accurate reporting.Monitor and develop KPI's.Prep and coordinate financial statements.Manage relationships with external accounting partners.Manage budgeting function.Provide continuous improvement efforts for accounting operations.
Qualifications:10+ years of Accounting experience required.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required, Master's preferred.Professional accreditations such as CPA, CMA, or CGMA preferred.Understanding and proficiency in GAAP.Expertise in financial data analysis.Problem solver, able to handle complex situations with a focus on finding a solution.Knowledge on all tax compliance regulations.Experience in ERP implementation.Must be willing to work 100% on site in the Steele Creek/Westinghouse area of Charlotte.Backgrounds in Manufacturing highly preferred.
