Make an Impact!Make an impact on your patient’s life as a Physician Assistant, a licensed medical provider, for general surgery. Under the supervision of an attending surgeon/physician, you would be aiding in managing your patients in various areas: general, vascular, urology, and thoracic surgery. You would extend the services of the attending surgeon/physician by acting as a liaison for the supervising physician, procedures, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting imaging, laboratory, and other diagnostic tests, and rounding.Develop and Grow Your Career!Invest in furthering your education through seeking certifications or advanced degrees by taking advantage of our Tuition Reimbursement! Position:Physician Assistant PA-C
Shift: Day/Night Rotation - 3 12 hour shifts
Experience
2 years' experience as a Physician Assistant or Board-Eligible Graduate is preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required. Must graduate from an accredited physician assistant/surgical assistant program.
Licensures/Certifications
Must be Certified ( PA-C ) or new graduate who is eligible for certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants). Active license with Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required. ACLS certification required.Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
