Role Overview:Maison Berger is seeking a dedicated, outgoing, hardworking, and proactive individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. This role is intended to assist with tasks as needed and to provide essential support with the smooth operation of the retail store.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Requirements:- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving issues- Ensure the store is well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing at all times- Assist customers in finding the right products for their needs- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends- Inventory maintenance on internal system- Willing to work in a team environment- Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, to stand on your feet all day, and lift up 15- 35 lbs. Other responsibilities:- Answering phone - Resolving any customer issues in a timely, professional manner- Opening/closing the store – someone, ideally someone senior, will need to be a keeper of the key- Managing POS and cash box- Executing in-store promotions- Executing loyalty program (sign ups & redemption)- Custom orders- Merchandising and in-store displays- Store maintenance and regular cleaning Tools:Phones, Shopify POS and Microsoft Office Qualifications: - Bilingual skills, particularly English and Spanish, are preferred- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred- Experience with home fragrance is preferred- Experience with luxury goods is preferred - Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain an organized and clean sales floor.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in person and on the phone- Ability to upsell and promote products effectively- Knowledge of fragrance products are a plus- Ability to provide product demonstrations to customers- Customer service-oriented mindset- Ability to approach customer inquiries individually and provide personalized recommendations and solutions- Ability to think strategically, assess opportunities, and provide creative solutions to complex problems while remaining flexible and adaptable- Ability to work independently or with a team
