📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an 3-6 Month Commercial Contracts Attorney (30-40 hours per week).Overview: Major, Lindsey & Africa is seeking a Commercial Contracts Counsel with 3-15+ years of experience in Commercial Contracts.
Company: A NYSE Publicly Traded Consumer Packaged Goods Company.
Experience: At least 3-15+ years of experience in Commercial Contracts.
Location: REMOTE. NYC Metropolitan-based if someone wants to be on-site.
Responsibilities Include: Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiating skills for a myriad of commercial agreements, including supplier agreements, vendor agreements, customer agreements. Experience in the consumer-packaged goods space is ideal, but not required.Other Legal tasks as requested.
Qualifications Include: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolMembership in good standing of a state bar association as an attorney qualified to practice law in that stateA minimum of 3-15+ years legal experience as in-house counsel or related law firm practice working on commercial agreements.Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and corporate transactionalExperience in Consumer Packaged Goods is Preferred but not required.Excellent judgment and business acumenStrong attention to detail and ability to problem-solveAbility to relate and work well with people of many cultures, disciplines, and levels of experienceExcellent oral/written communication skillsStrong analytical review and research skills
