Labor Relations Specialist Needed for Global Manufacturing Firm in the Augusta, GA area
The company is a privately held US based manufacturing firm that is financially stable with a strong growth trajectory that can offer a good work-life balance for the right professional.A qualified candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Accounting, or related fieldAt least three (3+) years of professional human resource administration required with experience in employee relations.SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferredExperience with a large manufacturing operation with a Union workforce, Teamsters experience is preferred.Experience conducting initial interviews and gathering information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees.Experience Ensuring timely responses to all matters within the CBA including grievances, reporting, discipline, etc.
