📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our South Ready Mix Division is hiring a Ready Mix Lead Plant Maintenance Lead. The Lead Plant Maintenance Technician will repair and maintain equipment and building operations including ready-mix plant and other miscellaneous equipment and lead other technicians. ResponsibilitiesOperate front-end loader, forklift, skid loader, and other equipment used in maintenance procedures.Weld and cut on equipment when necessary.Perform regular preventative maintenance on ready-mix plant, conveyor, mixer, loader and recycler such as oiling, greasing, and changing filters.Perform emergency maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary such as welding, replacing parts, and changing bags on dust collector.Perform general cleanup of plant and yard such as shoveling and sweeping.Perform all tasks in a safe manner.QualificationsElectrical knowledge.Knowledge and experience in maintenance of equipment, such as air compressors, mixers, vibrators, conveyors, motors, and other miscellaneous equipment.Three to five years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.High School diploma or general education degree (GED).Welding experienceClass A or B Commercial Driver’s License is preferred.Strong customer relation skills.Acceptable driving recordBenefitsPaid Time OffHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife and AD & D Insurance401K Retirement PlanShort Term Disability InsuranceFlex PlanWellness Program Paid Holidays
