Job Title: Trading Goods PlannerRole SummaryCompany: MANN+HUMMELLocation: Gastonia, North Carolina As a Trading Goods Planner at MANN+HUMMEL in Gastonia, NC, you'll be responsible for maintaining schedule integrity, optimizing supply chain metrics, fostering vendor relationships, and leading material planning improvements to drive efficiency and meet order fill targets.Main TasksMaintain schedule integrity by effectively managing demand and supply within the planning window.Cultivate strong relationships with strategic vendors to ensure long-term accountability.Enhance Supply Chain metrics such as customer order fill, inventory days on hand, and supplier on-time delivery.Manage the Plan For Every Part (PFEP), optimizing parameters for efficient inventory management and order fill targets.Conduct inventory analysis and provide recommendations on excess, obsolete, or slow-moving items.Lead material planning improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and effectiveness in processes.Contribute to Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP) processes.Your ProfileEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years in supply chain roles within manufacturing or distribution settings.
