Our client, a leading provider of industrial solutions, is seeking a Controls Engineer with strong Siemens experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. We are looking for a mid to senior level Siemens PLC programmer who is strong with TIA Portal.
Job Title: Controls Engineer - Siemens
Location: Saline, MI
Shift: 2 nd shift; 40-45 hours per week
What’s the Job?
Develop and commission industrial control systems, PLC software, and HMI screens. Conduct PLC/HMI code development, installation, debugging, and commissioning. Conducting the peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with build and electrical teams. Ensure systems are designed and programmed according to customer and/or build specifications. Travel to customer sites for system installation and startup.
What’s Needed?
Strong experience with Siemens (TIA Portal) PLC programming. Prior experience with automotive manufacturing integration and commissioning. AS or BS in Engineering. Equivalent years of experience can be substituted for a degree.
