We seeking an entry level marketing associate to join our team. The marketing associate will be responsible for supporting long-term strategies and managing day-to-day projects for Mariner Independent. This is a chance to join a growing marketing team with the opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities

Assist in prioritizing projects and setting expectations with internal stakeholders Project contact for internal clients, providing detail-oriented and organized management for specific projects and assignments Ensure projects are completed on time and to goal or strategy Implement strategies and assist in tactical executions as well as monitoring of marketing campaigns Collaborate with the marketing lead on ideas to help the firm reach strategic goals and to ensure projects are on target Assists with coordinating calendars, webinars and events Assists marketing team and digital team with social media tactics Interact with external vendors to support project needs Managing and organizing project flow Prioritizing multiple projects against deadlines Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required; OR equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job 0-2 years experience in the marketing field

Basic knowledge of marketing strategies Problem solving and time-management skills Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and in person) Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook Ability to multitask and show resilience in the face of difficulties Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness Ability to interact confidently and collaborate with other departments and teams Effectively assess and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines Adapt to fast-pace, changing environment Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects Able to embrace new technology and forward thinking Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
