Senior Accountant

Position Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team here at MarketOnce. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of accounting operations for multiple companies, including full charge bookkeeping duties and accounting tasks. This individual will work closely with the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, highly motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with customer invoicing and collections processesAssist with entering and processing accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely mannerAssist with performing month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and financial statementsAssist with maintaining and updating financial statement accounts layout and report structures In Great Plains Management ReporterAssist with reconciling bank and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and completenessDevelop and document new accounting procedures to improve efficiency and effectivenessCollaborate closely with the CFO to provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as neededFollow standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with internal controlsAssist with audit preparation and support internal and external auditors as requiredResponsible for quickly becoming a Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics accounting software expertOther duties as assigned by the CFO

Qualifications:10+ years of accounting experience, in various capacities2+ years using Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics accounting software (preferred)Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA certification is highly preferredStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suiteExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skills
