Marmon Aerospace & Defense, located in Hooksett, NH is seeking a reliable and detail oriented individual to fill the position of Extrusion Operator and join our dedicated team. This is a 1st shift position (8am-4pm M-F). Our brand new facility offers a unique feature to enhance the work experience – an on-site driving range for employees to enjoy!

Extrusion Operator Responsibilities
Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, compound selection etc.) to start a production cycleControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed, temperature)Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyTroubleshoot issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final productsMaintain activity logs
Skills & Requirements
At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to calculate basic math and take measurementsWorking knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)Understanding of production proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)Analytical skillsAttention to detailTeamwork and communication skills
