LifeSaver Gummies Production Assistant- A Shift (12 Hour Day Shift following a 2-2-3 Schedule)
$1,500 Sign-on Bonus for external hires only*
The Production Assistant role is responsible for performing routine candy dumping / sorting in an assigned area of Gummies packaging. This role primarily completes a variety of tasks including cleaning, basic operation of equipment, candy dumping, and manual stacking and sorting of finished goods.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs a wide range of semi-skilled and unskilled jobs to support production operationsPerforms non-maintenance tasks that are needed to maintain product flow and routine equipment operation. May include tasks such as clearing jams, cleaning screens, and disposing of defective product or raw materialsOperates area equipment or subsystems in a safe and efficient manner using established standard operating proceduresMaintains efficient operation of assigned equipment and subsystems via daily cleaning and routine adjustments. Generates work orders as needed.Performs cleaning and area setupMaintains assigned work area, tools and equipment in a clean, organized and professional manner. Assist other associates in maintaining the visual workplace requirements for the entire area.Performs hand packing, when necessary and end of line stack offMonitors, inspects, and maintains product quality while dumping tray candy to feed packaging lines
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
1 year manufacturing experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to work independentlyAbility to understand, read, write and communicate in basic work-related EnglishAbility to lift 50lbs continuously throughout shift
