Continuous Improvement Engineer

Join our team at Marvin Composities as a Continuous Improvement Engineer in Fargo, ND, where you’ll mentor and empower team members to identify areas for improvement, encourage idea submission, and lead/facilitate projects while meticulously documenting processes for future reference and optimization. Your primary focus will be on improving safety, quality, productivity, and profitability throughout the organization.

Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing, evaluating, documenting, and enhancing process flow and work methods. You’ll work collaboratively across various departments, driving Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes, increase efficiency, and improve effectiveness. Your proactive approach and motivation to get results will ensure the timely execution of projects aimed at saving costs and enhancing overall operations.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

Professional work experience in a manufacturing environment, depending on your level of experience, to contribute valuable insights and expertise Demonstrate strong computer skills, especially in MS Office, crucial for analyzing data and creating documentation Showcase your ability to interpret prints, a crucial skill for understanding and optimizing production processes, regardless of your experience level Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma a plus Demonstrated ability to use structured problem-solving techniques
