📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Portsmouth, Ohio
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a well established hospital employed group that have been providing services since 1966. This is a Medically directed program overseeing 4 CRNAs.
Compensation And Benefits
Base salary range of $476,410+ (50%tile MGMA for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience Sign on bonus equal to 15% of base salary up to $100,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2-4 years depending on bonus amount) Excellent bonus incentives up to 10% of salary Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company Health Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheck Vacation: 272 hours PTO CME/Books & Journals: 5 days PTO and up to $5,000 403b plan and 457b plan Malpractice Insurance Covered Pay for call program (CERP) Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment) Residency Stipend: up to $25,000 (requires up to 2 year service commitment)
Schedule and Clinical Details
Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm (cases start at 7:30 a.m.) Call is shared with 2 CRNAs, call is 1:5 with post call day off Current staff includes 8 Anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs Case load depends on room: General surgery, Thoracic, Vascular, OB/maternity, ENT, Ophthalmology, Ortho, Urology and Minimal peds No heads, hearts or spines

Board certified or board eligible Must have an active Ohio medical license or willing to obtain
